Law enforcement /Police Academy/ On boarding and Training Reform
Why this petition matters
The Stanford Prison Experiment should be the blueprint of today's social injustices concerning Law enforcement, starting in our very own communities. Police protect and serve our communities, I am aware that through reform of the training and vetting process we could make a great deal of change. Our community service members should stay in touch with the community through community outreach. The taxpayer's money could be spent within the communities for example - local municipalities donation basketballs and skateboards, book bags school supplies. Local police class after school programs for children within communities that aspire to be in law enforcement etc.. The government has put a tedious vetting process in place to become a police officer while gaining entry to the armed forces is far less tedious. Our government has made many attempts to make a change however we find ourselves repeating history. It is a law that for every problem lies a lesson and a solution, we learn new lessons every day yet fall short when solutions are needed. more than once we have proven how resilient our country can be! Please let's work together diligently to find a productive solution for a better future for all Americans!
