Net neutrality is a policy that prohibits internet service providers (ISPs) from discriminating between internet traffic as well as different websites. It prevents web providers from blocking certain websites and from changing how quickly those sites will load on your computer. Without it, companies could theoretically make some websites load faster than others or charge websites or users more money to access different sites.
According to The Hill website, 83 percent of voters support keeping FCC's net neutrality rules.
17 states have already filed suit against the FCC.
This petition is asking Ohio's Attorney General Mike DeWine to do the same.
