The spate of poor roads in Obafemi Owode Local Government is appalling coupled with the activities of trailers excavating sands in their great numbers daily as we have on Orimerunmu/ Olowotedo. These roads maintanance are left on the necks of the CDCs or CDAs while Government just make money through the Local authorities or Baales. This is highly unfair; as we the residents suffer for the incessant vehicle breakdowns.

This area especially Orimerunmu zone is the most development starved zone in Ogun State despite its large expanse. During elections, politicians target our local government but the political presence is just for the vote. We have had enough of poor hinter roads and untarred major roads in this area. We need good road network henceforth.

Coupled with the bad roads are the poor drainage which becomes worse during the rains. Our sand is clayey in nature which further makes it slippery when wet. In all, the roads are not worthy of vehicles.

All we are saying...give us good roads and make our roads worthy for our vehicles!
