I have started a petition to make the LA accountable for ignoring the Children and families act 2014! I find it shocking that they can get away with ignoring these laws that are there to protect children. Please
Could you share and sign my petition too. Thanks and good luck with yours xx

My daughter was kept out of education that she rightly deserved for months, because of cognus and SEN. She was denied education that theoretically she’ll never get back. Also, support groups for parents with SEND children are being shut down due to cognus and lack of funding.

All children have the right to be able to access education. The refusal of so many EHCPs is denying many of Sutton’s SEND children that basic right.

I believe all children should have the appropriate support to access quality education. The long delays many SEN children and their parents experience when applying for EHCP is not acceptable.

My son is ADHD & ASD. The school refused to poly for an EHCP due to Suttons refusal to approve them

My son is 28 and had a statement of educational needs band 7 and we never would have got him through school with you. We used to work hard with him at home-time to get his homework done but with out the money support for the TA's and laptop he would have ended up with no education. It is very unreal and unsatisfactory that the education in Sutton is looking at this at all. We can only hope that children are born perfect in future.
