First, let me say that this petition is being written in English by an interpreter, because we only speak Pennsylvania Dutch now wunst. 

We, the PA Dutch of Reading, Pennsylvania, are requesting that all official public communications put out by the city and city officials are also available in the Pennsylvania Dutch language. We are appalled by the oversight which marginalizes many of our chicken pot pie community. We are continuously told to accept that our language is dying, which isn’t very understanding or progressive tbh. 

Please help our movement, so everyone can understand what is happening in the city a little better. It’ll make the shoo fly pie taste that much sweeter if you do.
