I am requesting a petition to the government that protects us from being charged a seasonal lot fee to a campground that we do not have access to. I do realize that this is beyond their control and they are probably not receiving the assistance that they require. I work hard for my money and I am not collecting any assistance from the government. My last email from my campground stated that they will give us a 50% discount for every month that they are not allowed to open.So if they do not open at all this year, I am paying over $1000 in lot fees and I am not even allowed access to the park but I am paying for it. When they are allowed to open, there will be restrictions (which I am completely ok with) but this means that the facilities that we pay the campground for will not be accessible (pools, parks, etc). I have contacted local MPs, Campground Owners Association and Ministry of Tourism. Now I would like your help. I am hoping the government will provide legislation that protects the public and assists the privately owned campground owners so they do not have to count on money that is not deserved.
