Your bigotry does not represent liberal minded people. Please focus on the real political issues like health, education, policing and finance.

I'm signing because today we live in a society where shows like 'Married at first sight' exist - where men and women agree to sign up to marry a complete stranger. I was watching this programme completely appalled and it made me question: it is such a risk, why would anyone do this? Then I realised - for them to go on a show knowing there's a good chance they won't work out with this person - they clearly can't properly value what marriage stands for. It's a bit of a joke to them. Divorce is a completely plausible outcome. If you ask me - giving people a rich they have been denied makes them value it much more than those who have had it all they lives. Giving gay people in Northern Ireland the right to marry might actually bring some value, respect and significance back to the meaning of marriage. You've allowed it to become something laughable, and it's time for a change.

Everyone should have equal rights reguardless, there shouldn't even be a need for others to vote on whether other people can have the same rights as us it should just be granted automatically it's called common decency and people need to stop being so close minded and realize that its 2016 and society is changing so they need to go with it and stop taking happiness away from others just because they don't agree with it. If you don't like it don't pay attention to it and just get on with your own lives and stop trying to make others feel segregated in society. Same sex couples are no different to straight couples so they need to stop being treated as if they are and start being accepted. All the know it alls who voted no in the republic of Ireland last year for all of there reasons why they shouldn't be allowed marry have had nothing to say since then, none of the fears they had have happened, plenty of gay couples have gotten engaged and married since then and and its had no impact in the lives of those who voted no, so surely that should show from a nation that has not that long ago voted on the same matter that it doesn't make a big difference in anybodys lives except those who are directly affected by it. I don't see why anyone should vote no on something like this because why should you have the right to take away someone else's rights to equality or more importantly to take away someone else's happieness so for anyone against this get over it and don't bring so much negativity into the situation, just give then the right to get married, its not as if there asking for any special privileges they just want the right to be equal.

Religion should not give someone a right to discriminate against another person/group of people on such a major scale. Your beliefs are your own and that is how they should be. Yours. Not forced upon others through law. If it was genuinely detrimental to society then why has everywhere else in the UK not fallen apart yet?
