Maintain social distancing, use of face masks to avoid second Covid-19 wave
Continuing social distancing, and other precautionary measures like the use of face masks, and hand washing,sanitizing , could possibly help in avoiding the need for future lockdown.

Several countries that initially imposed strict lockdown measures to limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2 are in the process of lifting them. However, how and when to ease the restrictions is a difficult decision - a delicate balance between the need to reactivate the economy and the risk of a second wave of infections that could overwhelm healthcare systems.

The use of face masks, hand hygiene, and Social distancing  mandates have already demonstrated benefits. 

If we manage to reduce the transmission rate by even 25% through the use of face masks, hand hygiene and social distancing, we can considerably reduce the magnitude of the next wave. Reducing transmission rate by more than 50% could avoid it completely

The results show that, even in area that do not have the resources or infra to test and trace all cases and contacts, social empowerment through the use of masks, hand hygiene, and social distancing, is key to stopping viral transmission.

We as responsible members of society needs to contribute towards helping our government, covid warriors,  

Social distancing is not the same as self-quarantine or isolation, two other practices being utilized to minimize the coronavirus spread. The key difference is that a quarantine or isolation restricts the movement of people within a certain area or zone to limit transferring and spreading an infection. Social distancing places no such locational constraints, rather it is a behavioral practice to lower the risk in most circumstances.

As an individual what can I do -- is try to make the person understand importance of SMS, avoid unnecessary gatherings and spitting in public. Educating the shopkeepers that they should  strictly follow these rules and  ban those who flaunt the law. This can't be done without support from others. If you see someone stopping a person spitting in public, as a responsible citizen support him/her.
