Shut down America’s Best Value Inn/Red Carpet Inn
For years now the Office of Temporary Assistance of Morris County New Jersey has been placing homeless needy families in America’s Best Value inn/Red Carpet Inn. This one hotel (split in two) happens to be the home of many infestations and health hazards. Family’s should not be placed here. Period. The hotel should be condemned. Parents along with their young children are exposed to but not limited to drug fumes, prostitution, Bed bugs, cockroaches, maggots, animal feces (due to it being an animal friendly motel), mold and mildew, cigarette and crack pipe burns in the sheets and blankets, and the carpet being constantly moist with an unknown substance, constant police activity, and over all completely disgraceful management. The Office of Temporary assistance in Morris County has a contract with this hotel where they get paid for placing families to stay there for long periods of time. The reviews on google speak for themselves. If not condemned and torn down this place should ATLEAST be taken off the options for homeless families to stay while waiting for a shelter bed to become available.
