Shed bar has been a key location as a part of the Airlie Beach night life for years. The venue promotes the fun, outdoor lifestyle that attracts tourists from all over the world come to visit.

Over the last couple months there has been numerous complaints from a small number of serial complainers. This has led to the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation Limit the number of decibels the venue can create; this means the venue can no longer host live musicians or DJ’s to create the amazing environment that the whole community loves.

The question is, how can the actions of a few people ruin a key part of Airlie Beach's night life for locals and tourists alike? Not fair is it? We can't live in a world where the actions of a few dictate what the majority can enjoy.

The office of liquor and gaming regulation must see that this venue should not suffer because of this. Shed bar's previous noise limitations should be reinstated so that Airlie beach can continue to thrive as a tourist destination as it has in the past. If the office of liquor an gaming can see that the community wants shed bar more than a couple people complaining don’t, i believe they will have no choice but to reinstate its noise limitations so shed bar can be enjoyed by everyone for years to come.
