Return the fourth floor library back into a collaborative zone!

UIC's fourth floor library served a great purpose for its students, at least it used to. The fourth floor was a place where you met new people, socialized with your friends as you got school work done or collaborated in groups for projects. Starting the term of Fall 2017 with the fourth floor as a quiet study zone was very disappointing. It is already hard enough to find places to study with peers or friends around campus. The third floor already serves as a quiet study zone and the second floor does not have enough seating. The quad is a nice place to gather with some friends, until it snows of course! With this petition I would like to show the importance, to students of UIC, of returning the fourth floor library back to the way it was, a collaborative zone. The library is for the students of UIC and I believe we should have a say in how we would like it to be.
