Petition update

We still stand with asylum seekers

Dec 10, 2019 —

Dear supporters,

Unfortunately, as you all may have seen, the MEDEVAC bill was repealed after Jacqui Lambie voted with the Coalition. Now more than ever we need to do all we can for refugees and asylum seekers.

Can you sign this petition started by Joniad, a Rohingya refugee?

Joniad is a Rohingya refugee in Indonesia, and has been stuck in limbo for years. In 2014, Scott Morrison’s decision to stop the resettlement process for refugees stuck in Indonesia has led to  a humanitarian crisis in that country. 14,000 vulnerable refugees are currently trapped in limbo in Indonesia..

Joniad still believes in the compassion of Australians. This is why he is reaching out to us, asking to help him and 14,000 other vulnerable refugees stuck in Indonesia.

Can you sign his petition and show him that Australians stand by refugees?

Please share the petition with your networks so Joniad and his friends know that they are not forgotten.
