Protect UK Businesses: Hang-Up on Auto-Rolling Contracts

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

It is common practice for telecoms providers to embed a clause within your landline contract that enables them to roll you into an extended term if you do not give sufficient notice, in some cases for up to 5 years. This practice is known as auto-rolling and is costing Northern Ireland businesses over £20m.

As a telecom provider, we believe this to be a sharp practice and have therefore begun lobbying communications regulator, Ofcom, to change these regulations.

I believe that customers are entitled to have open and transparent relationships with their current telecoms provider and these changes are essential to achieving this.

To do this, we are tackling the issue head-on, but the industry needs your help to make these changes happen. We're appealing for local businesses to show their support by sharing experiences and signing the online petition, which will be presented to Ofcom, with the aim of altering the current regulations.
