Introduction PCM and PCB streams in Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas Rather than Forcing Everyone to Study PCMB�� 

Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas are the free CBSE schools introduced by Govt. Of Odisha which provide Quality education to poor children of rural areas from class 6th-12th. They overally focus on building a strong educational background and bright future of financially weak or not so well  children as they provide many facilities of a CBSE school for free. 

As we know, there exist premier Entrance exams like NEET and JEE after the completion of 12th and students of OAVs, like other CBSE schools do want to participate in those and secure good ranks for their undergraduate degrees. And for this , the preparation has to start from 11th itself. Since many students are financially weak, they choose to continue their 11th and 12th from OAVs which is free. But one con of the institutions is that they do not have any optional subjects like IT or Physical Education despite having Computer Labs and PE teachers and instruments. This means we've to study PCMB which doesn't make sense. One who wishes to prepare for JEE doesn't need to study Biology. One who wants to prepare for NEET doesn't really have to study Maths. So it's our humble request to Respected OAVS to introduce Optional Subjects by which we can solely Focus on our Competitive exam preparation and can opt PCM or PCB with any of the optional Subjects.
