My high school is putting football players above everyone else at the school. They get their own private room to attend classes from on campus, and they get instant result COVID testing before every game, and possibly every practice. All the while my fellow classmates and I are being put at a higher risk simply because we don't play football. The teachers comments on facebook have had no effect on the situation.

Even the other sports aren't getting that treatment. Sure, Volleyball can still ple, and cross country can still run, but they don't get tests at all and aren't put in their own personal bubble. Also, people aren't wearing masks at the cross country meets and no one cares. 

Not to mention how the clubs are suffering. Theatre has just as much a right to perform as football players do to play! We should be able to rehearse and block our plays. We should be able to do our competitive show while being heard clearly and standing near each other. If we were treated half as well as the football team, we could really express our art.

And don't even get me STARTED on our TV people. They're crammed together huddling around things. 

The point isn't that football sucks and we shouldn't protect the players. It's that we should have equal treatment in all of the clubs and sports. The favoritism in this school is flagrant and unseamly. It's completely unfair to everyone who doesn't play football.
