MAKE OUR SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES SAFE BEFORE REOPENING! Both the Oceanside Schools and Oceanside Library $$M budgets have been passed. There was no stipulation in regards to adding a much needed air filtration system, or anything to insure safety regarding the deadly COVID-19 precautions (i.e.Testing availability, temperature taking, and more!). Our taxes are going to increase; that was made clear. The Safety of our children and our community are first and foremost. There are schools across the Nation which are jeopardizing our health and wellness. All necessary precautions are greatly needed to protect everyone. We may have tauntingly been steered into wanting more aesthetics for our schools and libraries. SAFETY AND WELLNESS ARE FIRST. This isn't going away. There is no "new normal". This is moving forward in the most positive and protective manner.
