A proposal was set forth to rezone the Beachwalk community from Ocean Palms and Landrum in an effort to alleviate some of the overcrowding. While in the long term, a K-8 school will be built for the Twin Creeks area (Beachwalk, Beacon Lake and Creekside), this will help manage the growth from that area.
