New Zealand OET in Subtests Writing and Reading must accept scores starting C and above
I believe that there are lots of health care workers who wants to work abroad to be able to help other people and live the dream they always wanted. There could be one possible thing that hinders it and this could be the only way to help them achieve their goal. As we all can see, NMC lowered the preferred scores in OET & IELTS already. We are all hoping that New Zealand will do the same. Back in the day, when OET or IELTS are not accepted in NZ, there we’re already plenty of workers who lived there who can’t even speak or converse in english very well. But now, There are lots of professionals who are skilfully competent, can converse well in english but somehow due to some technicalities during the OET exam or review proper, they get a grade of not less than C. I hope that as a fellow health care professional who would like to extend my skills and share my knowledge in New Zealand will be able to help and make a change for good.
