Grant Presidential Pardon To US Army Lieutenant Clint Lorance

Petition To Grant Presidential Pardon To US Army Lieutenant Clint Lorance
This petition to the Obama administration urges for presidential pardon to be given to Lieutenant Clint Lorance, who is currently serving sentences in Leavenworth prison for murder.

The charges of murder were inflicted on him during the course of leading his patrol through a minefield in Afghanistan. This occurred in July 2012 when the patrol found three men coming towards them on a motorcycle. Lorance ordered his men to fire, leading to the death of two men and the wounding of another. He was then tried for murder and today, this twenty eight year old officer of the US Army is serving a twenty year life sentence in prison.

This petition needs the support of all who understand the duties of an officer on the field and how the country’s leaders cannot turn against them after they have performed their duties. We need to urge the president to pardon Lorance and show his support for the men and women who are dispatched for service to the nation.
