With the rate of inflation, utility bills rising and going to rise every quarter, the Old Age Pensioners are finding it more difficult to afford to eat and heat their homes.

It has been a long time since the OAP payment has had any major increase.

The working people have had no option to not pay their Nation Insurance duty whilst working and now is the time for OAP payments to be brought up to date.

Some OAP still have mortgages to pay, all have heating, lighting and food to buy, yet no increase of payment is forth coming.

The government has said we all need A LIVING WAGE, so where is the OAP living wage that we have been paying into for 50+ years.

The OAP payment is about £720 per month.

Any one working over the age of 23 HAS to be paid a minimum of £9.50 per hour. Or 35 hours a week £330.

So this is to allow people to be able to have enough money each week to live on.

So why is it an OAP is expected to live on £150 LESS each week?  If you agree then maybe it is time the OAP demanded an increase of £150 per week pension.
