Due to school closures, it is becoming difficult and stressful for students to complete school work assigned online. Some families are at disadvantages by having no internet connection or electronic devices. Oakland High School seniors are most affected by this pandemic as it is their last year of high school and unfortunately, it has been cut short.

By cancelling the senior project presentations, it will alleviate the stress that seniors are feeling during these difficult times and compensate for the cancellation of prom and graduation. Oakland High seniors have worked hard enough during these past four years. They have all worked on a senior project paper throughout the year and so, having a presentation about their paper is unnecessary.
