Please, Oak Bay, Throw the dogs a bone!

Re: Cochrane's Common 2167 Oak Bay Ave Municipal Hall Back Lawn (already designated with no dog restrictions)

We, the undersigned, petition the Mayor and Council of the Municipality of Oak Bay as follows:

To Fully fence and gate Cochrane's Common for the use of dogs for off leash play.

Oak Bay has no fenced off leash parks for dogs.  We understand that there may be restricted hours, such as daylight or 8 am to 8 pm.  We also understand that this area is occasionally used for events  such as the pumpkin display, and of course these would take precedence periodically.  As this area is already designated as "no dog restrictions" all that would be needed is fencing and gates.
