I’ve been waiting for 5 years to join Oak Bay Tennis Club. It’s impossible.

Please do NOT remove tennis courts in Oak Bay.

Tennis is a great way to exercise, socialize and have fun! We hope the council to continue to support it.

we need to support sport. Government can't push exercise and activity and then take away the ability to do it

We are losing a facility in Delta too and tennis gave me a new game at age 50. Love it and the community of people we have as a result. Very important to have these facilities for the public

I'm signing because the tennis players in this community need courts in good condition in order to participate in their sport "the sport for a lifetime!" The loss of facilities directly affects those people (young and older) who want to lead an active lifestyle.

Tennis is a sport of a lifetime - I have played for forty five years and removing courts is ludicrous as this generation and the next should have the opportunity to play on courts that have been enjoyed by so many and will be for many years to come- all you need to do is repairs - a lot less costly than removing courts.

It’s crazy for Oak Bay to teach tons of tennis lessons and then eliminate courts!
The parking lot is currently double wide so could be converted to have some pickle ball courts and if the water park building is improved it could be a nice daycare and clubhouse space for various groups. Most of the park is currently baseball so the mix with tennis serves more people. Also not maintaining these courts for the past 5 years is not a good reason to eliminate them!
Idea, change surface to clay if you want but don’t eliminate them!
