Caitlin White started this petition to O2 (O2)

Following on from the O2 problems, they are refunding customers around 87p per customer for a day’s loss of data and signal.

Instead, let’s send that money to the homeless charities. Every O2 customer needs to agree to donate the 87p they are going to get refunded.

There are currently over 25 million O2 customers and it will potentially raise over 21 million pounds if everyone agrees to donate.

Following a recent statuary homelessness analysis 2,920 16-24 year olds were found to be homeless. More than a quarter of a million people are homeless in the UK.

Last year, around 4,800 people were said to be homeless, with a rise of 15% from 2016.

Homelessness is on the rise and we need to stop this, every little penny can count, and that 87p from a day’s loss of data and signal really could make such a difference.
