Approve our right to Vote

We the Members of The Original Los Angeles Raiders Booster Club request the Board Members to approve the following:

1) All O.L.A.R.B. Current Members to be able to nominate and Vote on All Board Positions and Bylaws.

2) Have the Right to attend and participate in Board Meetings.

3) Receive Quarterly Financial Reports on how our dues and club proceeds are being spent.

We feel this is our basic civil rights as Americans. All other Recognized Oakland Raider Booster Clubs have similar laws in place that give their members these rights. We are the only club that currently does not allow any of these.

Our most current Bylaws state the President and Vice President positions are "to be appointed" but does not state by who. This creates a situation where we cannot vote or elect any new Presidents or Vice Presidents. They also state 4 members including member of the year are to be invited and participate and vote in board meetings. This bylaw  is not currently be followed. Finally Our Bylaws state that our Board's Secretary is our designated Election Officer and in the event of a Board Position vacancy they are to nominate 2 candidates and we the members can nominate any other member including ourselves. This bylaw is not currently being followed. We have not been notified in the past on vacant Board Positions and therefore have not had the opportunity to nominate anyone including ourselves for Board Positions.

As a lifetime member of O.L.AR.B I feel it is time to correct these issues immediately for the good of all and is what's best for the club as a whole. We are the greatest fans representing the greatest Team on Earth. The Oakland Raiders. Please join me in helping gain these basic civil rights for my O.L.A.R.B. brothers and sisters so we can move the club forward in a positive unified direction.
