In the early hours of 2 March NZ Police began raiding the freedom village during the day there has been many people traumatized by the use of excessive force 

More than 100 officers were on the ground moving through and dismantling tents and structures stealing or throwing away personal belongings.

The pre-planned operation started at 6am

NZP have consistently denied using excessive force when there's many footage that shows police misconduct

The statement on 2 March 2022 by Maori Government of Aotearoa Nu Tireni states this was a "direct breach of this agreement an act of bad faith and violation of their oath to protect the people As such parley was broken by his actions"
