Each year during Te Wiki o te Reo Maori (Maori Language Week), NZ media includes Maori language in news, weather, news commentary, ads, etc.

Maori is an official language of Aotearoa. The media has the power to use Te Reo for 52 weeks a year, not just one.

The NZ population will then have the opportunity to have access to Te Reo Maori 365 days a year.
