ATTENTION NYSUT MEMBERS!!

Are you growing increasingly concerned about the mandates being forced upon our nation?

Have you started to wonder when this is all going to end?

Are you feeling completely supported by your union?

In the past 18 months we have gone through so many ups, downs, and changes. We have been flexible. We have gone above and beyond to teach and inspire in the worst of circumstances and now, we-the educators and support staff for our youth-are being forced to choose our jobs over our mental wellness and physical health.

Whether you are vaccinated or not, ask yourself, are you pro choice? Are you FOR the choices of what we do with our bodies? Are you FOR the choice of privacy? Are you FOR unions being unified and standing up for their employees-no matter what side of the fence they are on?

Our nation is divided on every front, could this be the divide and destruction of our unions too?

Let’s stand together for choice and let our union leaders know that we want to be unified, but in order to do that, we NEED CHOICE!

I. We are for Medical Freedom and against forced Covid vaccines for all NYS teachers. We are not “anti- vaxxers,” we are for freedom of choice and conscience when it comes to these controversial Covid vaccines. If members decide to take the vaccine, that is fine. If others feel it puts their health at risk, we demand the freedom to decline it without fear of losing our jobs. If we do not have the Right to Privacy, the right to decide what the government can and cannot put in our bodies, we are slaves. We are for Medical Choice. We are for medical freedom.
 
II. We expect our Union, NYSUT to stand for members rights and publically oppose Mandatory Covid vaccines for teachers.
 
III. If NYSUT refuses to support its members on this most important civil rights issue and back vaccine mandates for teachers, we will be forced to leave the union and stop paying dues.
