First Article On Renovation of East River Courts In the Villager

Aug 30, 2013 — Our first article on the need to renovate the courts has hit print. Also, we have gotten about 70 signatures on a paper petition available at the courts. BY CLARISS-JAN LIM | Despite the recent completion of years of renovation work in East River Park, the park's tennis courts have been left neglected. Most of the courts have several-foot-long cracks on their surfaces - some even streching across the length of the court - with vegetation growing in the cracks.
