I support McCarren Tennis Center in proceeding to keep the bubble up until early October 2020.  I understand that under the given circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, McCarren Tennis Center is trying their absolute best as a small business to obtain social distancing, follow COVID-19 compliance requirements, and accommodating free play for the public.

2.   Online booking to avoid large gathering on public courts

3.   COVID-19 Compliance and procedures in place

4.   Rain or Shine tennis play goes on with longer hours

5.   Mid-day closure to mitigate heat, cleaning and sanitizing

6.  NYC Parks cannot provide staff for this short season, allows us to keep staff employed during this pandemic

7.  The bubble has a fresh air intake and fans to keep the air ventilating

8.   Schedule to take down and put up may only give 5 weeks of outdoor play not counting rain, bad light, wind, storm and extreme heat, etc.
