Mayor de Blasio’s order for overweight fines in excess of $7,0000.00 fines against truck drivers on the BQE is absolutely ridiculous. There are numerous concrete plants, transfer stations, and organic yards that have trucks utilizing the Brooklyn Queens Expressway in order to service them on a daily basis. Please sign this petition in order to open the eyes of law officials so they can see the negative effects of this “executive order”. To avoid the BQE, Mayor de Blasio will putting millions of pedestrians in harms way.
