As proud members of the Northwestern Lehigh Community, we are strong, we are united, and we have great passion for our children. Based on the 8/31/21 Governor’s announcement that the Secretary of Health will be requiring all school students to wear masks, we ask the School Board to stand strong, and allow for optional masking.  

Per Attorney Eric Winter….Governor Wolf cannot mandate masks b/c we are not in a state of emergency .The Health Dept/Dept Of Ag must first establish an outbreak in certain areas before a mandate can be put in place and as of now, nothing has been established. Because of that, we are asking the school board to file an injunction to block the order and to stand up for our school, our community, and most of all our kids!  

There are many state legislators who have also made statements that this mandate is unenforceable and that the Governor acknowledged that it is up to school districts to enforce. 

Please sign this petition so demonstrate to the School Board, that we love our kids more than anyone else, and we should have the freedom to choose what is best for our families.
