Seniors do not want to have NWEA Testing during 7th and 8th hours. Most seniors and many juniors do not have 7th and 8th hours and a lot of us work during this time. Also, releasing this schedule the week before at the end of the week makes it hard for students who already have their work schedule to make accommodations. The senior and junior class has worked the last few years so we do not have to stay at school that late. Doing this feels like a punishment.

We want a schedule that does not hinder the working student body from doing their jobs. We also want a schedule that does not make us stay at school longer than we would on a normal day. We understand that the NWEA test is important for our school and our teachers have said this to us. We want to do well, but the schedule is hard for those that have prior things scheduled outside of school. We have a petition going around school and many students have already signed it. Please help us make a change in our school. Thank you.
