Clive Banzon started this petition to Nursing midwifery council

Each year every nurse and midwife serving in the NHS and care system has to pay the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) a registration of £120 before they can carry out their life saving roles.

In this difficult time of the Corona virus pandemic, it seems unnecessary that those taking on this fight and risking their lives daily still have to pay that amount in trying times like these. That £120 could mean so much to those nurses who are currently struggling to make ends meet. Household of medical staff are more likely to have financial hardship as there is an increased risk of requiring self isolation due to increased exposure.

Many companies and individuals all over the country have shown their support towards the nurses and other healthcare workers. So this little gesture could go a long way and make the difference so many need.
