Every day we read about nurses over working and overwhelmed hospitals, currently the pandemic keeps on extending, I urge our leaders to help us to help kiwis.

We are overseas trained nurses with many years of experience in overseas and New Zealand, we are unable to register due to the tough registration like IELTS/OET but we are working with people every Day as Health care assistants/other professionals  without the English language we can not communicate with patients that much.

Now we are Covid-19 vaccinators under supervision

Can you please consider to do longer competency and assessments online English language or pathways, NZQA’s assessment to register one off to fill the some gap to get through pandemic before it’s too late.

Please consider this a win win for everyone as most of us are citizens/permanent residence.

we are calling Nursing councils and New Zealand Government to review to meet the demand.
