In this time of crisis, during COVID19 medical staff are needed more than ever. And the general public need us more than ever. 
whilst we appreciate all the support we have been given.... claps on the street, free gifts, free pizza etc We should not have to pay for the privilege of keeping our names on a register in order to help people. At a time like this surely the fee to remain on a public register in order to practice as a nurse or a doctor should be waived. 
I’m sure many people would agree that these staff aren’t being paid what they are worth anyway but then for them to have to pay out themselves to do their job is slightly absurd.
