California Nurses Association started this petition to Nurses and

Emergency Room nurses don't ask for help. They are the help in an emergency.

Kaiser Roseville ER is in a crisis and needs more support! There are Kaiser nurses who want to help, they need re-orientation stat!

We call on Kaiser to orient all nurse volunteers to provide nursing care in the Emergency Department and where there is need immediately! We need more support staff including Transporters, Xray Technicians, Laboratory support, Patient Care Technicians, Emergency Technicians, Unit Assistants and EVS to keep the Emergency Department and the hospital clean, efficient and safe so that safe patient care can happen around the clock 24/7! In addition, Nurses need a COVID Resource Nurse/s at all times, to be provided a timely and full break for time to hydration and rest, patient assignments by acuity with time for donning and doffing of PPE, access to PPE and consistent, clear communication and orientation to any new role for which nurses may be assigned. Kaiser Nurses strive to provide safe patient care at all times, the current staffing levels must increase, immediate action must be taken.

Registered nurses, Healthcare workers and greater Sacramento area community members call on Kaiser Roseville to provide nurses what they need immediately!

We further commit to help STOP the spread of Covid19 by universally wearing a mask, avoid crowded public settings, travel, and by limiting non-household members in our homes.

Kaiser continues to make record profits during this Healthcare crisis, and must act now to provide the staffing levels needed to preserve nurses & all healthcare workers and to ensure every Kaiser patient is provided World Class care, every time.
