The Green Street Arts Center located in the historic North side of Middletown CT has been in our Neighborhood for many years.  Sadly after closing its doors this past summer 2018 breaking the hearts of many. The City has accepted proposals and will decide who should inhabit the space moving forward into 2019. The building is already perfectly designed as an Arts Center and is a valuable asset to our City and its Children. Others would like to completely gut and discard our children's past & future however I Aim to preserve it. Please join me in the quest to keep the Green Street Community Center in the hands of the most vulnerable among us. Our children need a safe, fun, educational place during these challenging times. The Community Center is located in a low income neighborhood where primarily single Mothers and fathers live. Having this Community Garden / Center remain with the people is crucial for our childrens education, health and well being.
