As you are aware a young boy from the Ntc school has tragically lost his life at a crossing near the school although this is under different circumstances  I have concerns for the crossing as many others in the area do too who’s children use the crossing to get to school. although it is a zebra crossing myself and many others have witnessed on many occasions vehicles not stopping to let these children cross safely and I believe as do many others that every child should feel safe crossing a road to get to school however many children do not feel safe crossing so I’m doing this to ask for the Northfleet technology college school and the local MP to hear this and provide a lollipop lady/man to safely escort children across the road so they feel safe and protected let’s make a change and make these children feel safe enough to cross this road if these children have this support it will not only make it safer for them but also the whole community and parents knowing there child will be able to cross this road safely . My sincere condolences go out to the young boy who tragically lost his life and his family let’s make a change in his honour let’s make it safe .
