Is Natural habitat not important enough to sustain our native wildlife and in turn, human lives.

The net benefit of the quarry is outweighed by the negatives, which are significant. We need to protect what’s left of our precious places in the area.

I oppose this proposal for health and environmental reasons. I live in the catchment area of the proposed development, and am very concerned about the disturbing impacts on the health and vitality of human and wildlife. There is so much scientific evidence available that demonstrates the multiplex risks associated with this kind of activity, especially when in proximity to precious habitat and a large connurbation.

There are already two quarries with in 10km (williamsdale and old Cooma rd)of this proposed sight plus two others (murrumbateman & Eagle hawk.
2km from NSW homes and 5km from ACT Homes is not good enough. The impact to the communities health, the environment, flora & fauna has not been honestly and correctly taken into account. There have been critically endangered species identified in the area!
Also silica dust can be as deadly as asbestos. Has there really been taken into account. The quantity of Water need for dust control is also a big concern!
Due to environmental impacts from the fires there has already been an increase in respiratory health issues. Silica Dust will only increase again!
THIS QUARRY SHOULD NOT GO AHEAD!!

Royalla is beautiful, a quarry will destroy it. People move to this area to escape industrial noise, dust and pollution.
