The Byron train was closed down but the train line is all still there so we want to have a solar powered light rail for locals and the 2 million tourists that visit each year, to act on climate change and reduce transport emissions and provide renewable powered public transport
A solar powered light rail for the Byron bay shire
My name is Zara and I am 17 and go to Shearwater Steiner school in Mullumbimby.
I come from Palm Island in North Queensland but have lived in the Byron Shire for the last 5 years.
There is basically no public transport where I live now but there is a trainline that is unused - bringing back the train is a way to act on climate change and it seems
crazy not to have one!
