Stop the expansion of the Hearne St Waste Facility in Mortdale
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
The NSW Planning and Assessment Commission is set to approve a massive expansion of the Waste Facility in Hearne St, Mortdale.
It will grow from 30,000 tonnes per year to 220,000 tonnes per year, operating from 6am to 10pm, six days a week.
This redevelopment will bring a big increase in large B-double trucks on small suburban streets at all hours of the night.
It is totally inappropriate for our community.
There is a public hearing on 2pm, Tuesday 12 December at Mortdale Community Centre, you can register to speak by emailing email@example.com or by calling 9383 2115.
Registration to speak at the public hearing closes at 1pm on Friday 8 December.
