BUILDERS IN NSW ARE BEING TREATED UNFAIRLY WITH HOME OWNERS WARRANTY STOPPING US FROM UNDERTAKING WORK BEYOND THE LIMIT OR DOLLAR AMOUNT OF WORK WE CAN DO, DUE TO A COMPUTER PROGRAM SAYING WE ARE A RISK . THERE IS NO OTHER PROFESSION WHICH IS PROHIBITED FROM WORKING AND EARNING AN INCOME TO A LIMIT.

IT IS UNFAIR THAT MANY BUILDERS ARE REVIEWED BECAUSE THEY REQUEST A HIGHER LIMIT. THERE SHOULD BE NO REVIEWS, WE WORK HARD AND LONG HOURS TO MAKE A LIVING AND IT IS CRIMINAL THAT WE ARE PENALISED BECAUSE OF A FEW SHODDY BUILDERS.

BUILDERS DON'T MIND PAYING HIGH PREMIUMS, OR SHOULD I SAY IT IS PASSED ONTO THE CLIENTS, BUT IF A HOME IS WORTH $2M, THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT A CLIENT RECEIVES IS $340,000.00. WHY THE HIGH PREMIUM.

PRIOR TO HOW INDIVIDUAL INSURANCES WERE ISSUED FOR CONSTRUCTION.  BUILDING ASSOCIATIONS ARE DOING NOTHING AS IT HAS BECOME A REVENUE FOR BEING BROKERS.

I BELIEVE  IF BUILDERS STAND TOGETHER, AND TELL THE GOVERNMENT TO STOP TELLING US THAT WE CAN ONLY WORK TO A LIMIT, NOTHING  WILL HAPPEN.
THIS AFFECTS TRADES, SUPPLIERS, RETAILERS ETC. THE WORK WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO UNDERTAKE IS  WORK OR SALES THAT OTHERS LOSE.

WE ALL HAVE TO GET THIS PETITION TO THE NSW GOVERNMENT TO LET THEM KNOW THAT WE ARE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST, BY BEING PROHIBITED TO EARN A DECENT LIVING, CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF HOURS WE WORK AND REVENUE WE CREATE.

AS DESCRIBED, I DON'T KNOW OF ANYONE WHO IS TOLD HOW MUCH WORK THEY CAN UNDERTAKE, THIS IS UNFAIR TOWARDS BUILDERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?
