The staff at my house were exceptional. They took time to learn the names of both the girls who lived in the house and out of the house - not easy to do with a sorority of +400. A livable wage is the bare minimum - We need to do better

I’m thankful for the Theta staff that made our house a home. Their pay is almost never openly discussed with the members and I know almost all members would’ve rather pulled from other budgets to ensure our staff had living wages and benefits.

I'm signing because the staff at my house were like parents to me in college. They would constantly check on me and if I hadn't been by the house in a few days they would always ask how I had been and/or why I hadn't been by in a few days.
When I lived in the house and I had clearly been downstairs studying for a while before they arrived for the breakfast shift in the wee hours of the morning, they would inquire if I had slept and make me tea while I was working without me asking (this was not a part of their job). They have also ensured, on more than one occasion, I was fed outside of meal hours by making me a late plate when I had a last minute conflict keeping me, again not their job to do this. These people are family and should be treated and compensated as such. Without them, most of the Greek life on campus would not function.

Our houses’ staffs went above and beyond to care of us in our homes away from home. They often worked extensive hours and went beyond their job descriptions to make sure we had what we needed. These workers deserve to be compensated fairly.

Our staff makes these houses home for us. They work so hard, and they love us as their own, while also going home to their own families everyday. They do so much for us - they deserve a living pay and benefits!

The men and women who worked at the house are the sweetest people and they do so much for everyone. They deserve more!
