Put the Hickings Lane Pedestrian Crossing Between Ewe Lamb Lane and Washington Drive

When McCarthy and Stone were given permission to build on the former Sinbad site off Hickings Lane Stapleford it was Councillor Richard MacRae who requested a Pedestrian Crossing be installed on Hickings Lane between Ewe Lamb Lane and Washington Drive, this was supported at the time by others.
Sadly despite the development being completed and residents moving in the Pedestrian Crossing has not been installed.
Broxtowe Borough Council have been given the money and it now needs to bring this Pedestrian Crossing into use.
The preferred location by local residents is between Ewe Lamb Lane and Washington Drive and we are signing this petition to ask the Councils, both Broxtowe Borough Council and Nottinghamshire County Council to work together and have this Pedestrian Crossing installed between Ewe Lamb Lane and Washington Drive asap. We are asking Councillors John Longdon and John Doddy to support our request.
WE DO NOT WANT THE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING INSTALLING TO THE NORTH EAST OF THE DEVELOPMENT.
WE DO NOT WANT THE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING INSTALLING NEAR THE ENTRANCE TO THE COOP CAR PARK AS THIS IS A DANGEROUS LOCATION.
WHAT WE WANT IS THE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING INSTALLING BETWEEN EWE LAMB LANE AND WASHINGTON DRIVE.
