More heavy traffic on ill-equipped roads would be detrimental to residents and quarrying would lead to pollution and disruption on already busy roads

We do not want to live in a polluted village we have lived here all our lives. Newark and the surrounding villages are very congested as it is with traffic and we do not need more of this.

I feel this would overload the already saturated roads to and from Newark and ruin the overall countryside view along with adding dangerous dust to the atmosphere in and around the surrounding homes!!!!!

we don't need the extra traffic in an already busy area

I have moved into the area recently, and don't want my house to be within range of this proposed site. We moved to the village to get away from noise and traffic, and this sounds terrible!

I have had many years experience working close to mineral/material extraction and therefore have first hand knowledge of the "downsides" as well as the benefits

I believe in the cause. This should not be allowed.

I am dreading all the lorries being diverted through Coddington every time there is an accident on the A17/A1/A46. Of which one of them has every week. We are grid locked enough around Newark without all these extra vehicles. Also the dust these places give is a worry to our health. Julie Cobb.

the surrounding roads are already busy. The main road is also between the school and the main housing, regular trucks would be dangerous for children going to school

The impact on the village environment from dust, noise and heavy lorry movements are quite unacceptable.
