I'm a student at InterVarsity who feels ostracize by the organization because of my belief that people with opposing viewpoints can still worship together.

I'm signing because I believe no matter what we should not judge others based on what we see fit. God will do that on our judgement day and we will be accounted for all our sins then. Whatever happened to "do not judge others lest ye' be judged"?

I'm signing this petition is that, while I don't agree with this way of life, I am in no position to judge anyone. This is between God and them. I believe that people have forgotten that Jesus chose to talk and teach among sinners. Remember His comments, "Let yet who is without sin cast the first stone." God cares for all his "children" and as Christians we should be trying to bring more people to God instead of denying them access. I don't know of any place in the Bible that says only certain types of people can find God.

I believe that God discriminates against his children or loves us any less because of qualities that he already knows fully.

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 12:27 that "all of [us] together are Christ's body, and each of [us] is a part of it." They why is IV severing the body of Christ by excluding people who have different views on sexuality? Yet, "some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary" (1 Cor. 12:22). It is not Intervarsity's authority to prune the vine, especially the branches that have produced good fruit. IV has cut the branch containing staff members who have dedicated their lives to God to serve in Intervarsity.

God, break my heart for what breaks yours.
