NOT Again! Stop 80K Pay Raise for Redwood City's City Manager & City Attorney!
Economic Disparities Continue to Plague City of Redwood City.
Residents and employees ignored as Council prepares to approve another round of 10% raises for the City Manager & City Attorney.
Budget Shortfalls?
Even after residents voted to increase our sales tax to ensure public safety funding, the City routinely threatens to make drastic cuts fire services during unprecedented wildfire seasons and historic droughts. Our water, garbage, and sewer rates continue to climb as roads and sidewalks fall into disrepair.
And Redwood City's hourly employees have done their share to help offset the budget shortfalls as well. Employees who worked through the pandemic, often at great personal risk to themselves and their families, were asked to work harder for less this year.
So why is our City Manager & City Attorney set to receive an $80,000 ANNUAL raise this Monday night?
November 22, 2021, Redwood City-City Council Meeting-Agenda Item 9B.
