Protect Norwich's Grass Tennis Courts

There are currently plans to replace the grass courts in Norwich with all weather ones. This plan would leave us in a position where there are no more grass surfaces for tennis players to play on in the city, and would result in a lack of diversity in surfaces for Norwich's tennis players. We have already seen all weather courts put in place in other parks such as Eaton Park, surely the demand for all weather courts has already been met? I have played on the Heigham Park courts during the university holidays with my friends for several years now precisely because they are grass courts, I am sure that many others who play at the Heigham Park courts are attracted to the courts precisely because of this.
The UK is the home of grass court tennis with the Queen's Club Tournament and of course the prestigious and world famous Wimbledon Championships. It would be a shame to see these courts go, and deny the next generation of tennis players the opportunity to play on grass.
