For many months, a pale blue bicycle has graced the bike racks of the Jacobs Center on Northwestern's campus. Due to its omnipresence, it became a resting place for used masks of the same precious hue. In November, urban artists (referred to by their alias, "Bike Thieves") removed the front and rear tires of the vehicle, creating a modern beauty known as "Our Lady the Blue Angel of Northwestern". The week of finals, December 2021, the Northwestern Facilities Services sought to remove the 8th Wonder of the World by displacing the entire rack. 

We, the students and friends of Northwestern, will not let such blasphemy go on. We demand the return of our Anthropocene Altarpiece to its rightful place.
